Tristan Coomer, BSP 

Founder & CEO

Tristan is an advanced care paramedic, advanced care community paramedic, and educator. He has been a practitioner of acute and critical care air and ground transport for more than 16 years and has developed and delivered EMS education globally. Tristan is a University of New Haven graduate, attaining a Bachelor's degree in Paramedicine. 

To further cultivate his commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and global outreach, Tristan created Coomer Consulting™ and Education as an alternative way to access EMS education and consulting services.

Dr. Thomas Charlton, MD

Medical Director


Tom Charlton, MD, MHSA, FACEP, FAEMS, is a highly accomplished physician specializing in emergency medicine and EMS. He is recognized for his board certification in both fields and has achieved Fellow status from esteemed organizations such as the American College of Emergency Physicians and the National Association of EMS Physicians.


In addition to his impressive credentials, Dr. Charlton serves as a medical director for various agencies and educational programs. His dedication extends further as he fulfills the roles of assistant program director and assistant professor of emergency medicine within the Central Michigan University School of Medicine EMS Fellowship Program. Dr. Charlton's profound passion lies in rural EMS and medical informatics, where he has made remarkable contributions to the advancement of medical practices in these areas.


In 2022, Dr. Charlton joined Coomer Consulting™ and Education, assuming the role of the services' medical director. Given his exceptional leadership capabilities in EMS services and Fire departments, Dr. Charlton was a natural fit for the leadership team, making valuable contributions to the organization.

Samuel Salmon

Chief Financial Officer


Samuel Salmon has been managing multifamily and buisness properties for over a decade and is currently employed by Cushman & Wakefield. Since the beginning of his career, he has received numerous awards directly related to his success in sales, commitment to customer service, and attention to detail.

 

As the owner and operator of Salmon Family Geneology™ for over 15 years, Samuel has a keen interest in family genealogy. Samuel was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio, where he descends from both the Doty and Vail families, two of the town's founding families. He has held both the position of trustee and president of the Middletown Historical Society. 

 

Samuel's proven financial management skills, commitment to customer service, and extensive experience led him to join Coomer Consulting™ and Education from its inception.  

Kate Morgan, MA

Communication Director 

Kate has spent the majority of her career in health care communications and public relations. She was first introduced to the fire and EMS community when she joined the University of Cincinnati Medical Center's Air Care & Mobile Care team in 2012 as the business development and outreach coordinator. Kate quickly learned the importance of quality clinical education and partnerships. Most recently, she was the manager of business development and outreach for Indiana University Health LifeLine. In Indianapolis, she coordinated multi-track clinical conferences and mini-educational events across the state. 

Although she is no longer in the health care industry, Kate is still an advocate for the fire and EMS industry and quality clinical education. Having joined Coomer Consulting™ and EMS Education at its inception, Kate has been a key contributor to their growth and development.
